We're a startup working to build an innovative Wallet, led by a team of successful entrepreneurs, and backed by notable investors. Our Wallet allows individuals and organizations to move, send, spend, convert, and load assets directly between one another incorporating digital and traditional bank and card networks. This keeps track of all holdings, in any form of value, on our ledger which also tracks conversion of holdings from on form of value into another or from one user to another.
In this role you will manage our Wallet/Ledger offering, develop enhancements to the Wallet, and any modifications / customizations for our partners. The Director will assess global market trends, evaluate potential Wallet opportunities with existing and new partners in conjunction with Head of Strategic Partners, develop product proposals, and recommend market entry strategies. You will own the product vision and delivery, including managing functional requirements, feature prioritization, and product operations. You will also partner with internal groups to evaluate and articulate the value/business proposition of new Wallet offerings.
You will be the end-to-end owner of the Wallet/Ledger. As these products have not launched, development will be the initial main area of focus. Commercialization will also be critical, including global pricing analysis, partner management, enhancement prioritization / management, commercialization progress tracking, and ensuring operational excellence (ie. billing and reporting).
Lead collaborative development and oversee execution of short-term, intermediate, and long-term strategic business development plans for Wallet/Ledger
Manage product development lifecycle from strategic planning, commercialization, and ongoing management
Prioritize initiatives and coordinate delivery across cross-functional teams
Coordinate with Marketing and Head of Strategic Partners on key messaging for new Wallet/Ledger enhancements
Identify and build relationships with internal and external partners to successfully manage and deliver high quality offerings
Provide training to internal teams: marketing, customer service, etc.
Manage product operations, including partner contracts, billing, legal approval of materials, and client-facing reporting in conjunction with admin and Head of Strategic Partnerships
Partner with finance and other stakeholders to manage annual budget and planning activities, ensuring business goals are translated into activities that drive achievement of business and financial targets
Drive profitable growth of new and emerging offerings that protect our long-term competitive advantage
Present to senior level executives and receive buy-in from key global stakeholders
Stay abreast of competitor products, ensure products are differentiated and solve partner's greatest needs while reducing fraud and increasing authorization.
Bachelor's degree required, advanced degree desirable
7+ years of experience working in product management or management consulting, with experience and knowledge in at least 1 or 2 of the following: card rails, banking rails, and cryptocurrencies is a strong plus
Excellent interpersonal skills to build connections with internal teams and partners
Ability to transform business ideas into detailed requirement that enable technology teams to deliver new offerings or enhancements based on business needs
Ability to manage and write product documentation detailing product features and business rules
Ability to manage projects with multiple work streams, with proven leadership success over a wide variety of functional business problems
Flexible and creative thinker with the ability to define business trade-offs, generate outside-the-box solutions and manage uncertainty
